22/05/2026 – Automation just got more flexible

When setting up an automated email in [Settings > Automation], you can now add a custom email address as the recipient – not just a candidate or client contact.

When previewing an automated email after it has been triggered, you can also choose a different recipient by searching for a candidate or contact. For example, this is useful when a different client contact will be conducting the interview and should receive the automated interview reminder email.

Automated tasks relating to interviews or candidate placements can now use start, due and reminder dates based on the interview date or candidate start date – rather than only the date the task was triggered.
